Charlotte's Story

Charlotte was bought in May of 2006 from a local show barn to be Mom's horse. She was a PMU baby and her old owner had her shipped in from Canada to be her next project horse. She was "trained" by a teenage girl and was taken to a couple shows, but eventually the girl needed a better horse, so she sold her. My mom bought her and, after a long journey of discovering Natural Horsemanship, is working with her in growing her respect for her as a leader everyday. Charlotte was a lucky buy because she is exactly the Horsenality that Mom feels comfortable with, yet still poses many challenges for her to work through with savvy. My mom hopes to keep learning from as many horsemen as she can, travel with her to clinics and other events, and most imporantly... HAVE FUN!

More on Charlotte's Horsenality

Charlotte is the typical LB Introvert. She constantly asks the question, "why?" and is takes lots of encouragement to get forward movement. She has become more motivated and understands the forward cue better recently, but she is still Charlotte and doesn't stray to far from her down to earth, slow, and sturdy self. She's a great horse to trail ride on, and loves getting outside and seeing the world, making her a perfect match for my mom.
